On May 30, the "2025 Da Nang Venture Capital and Angel Investment Forum," hosted by the Da Nang Department of Science and Technology, showcased the city’s investment potential to global investors.

The forum saw a total investment scale of $3.5 billion, with 36 innovative entrepreneurship projects across sectors such as technology, education, agriculture, and healthcare participating in financing activities.

Da Nang is gradually emerging as a prominent innovation and entrepreneurship hub, demonstrating enormous development potential in high-tech fields. In the 2025 Global Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Rankings, Da Nang surged 130 positions, achieving remarkable results in digital economy development and innovation-first policies.

Since January 1, 2025, Da Nang has implemented multiple favorable policies, including:

Foreign investors establishing economic organizations in the Da Nang Free Trade Zone are exempt from requiring a pre-existing investment project or completing procedures for issuing/modifying investment registration certificates before entity establishment.

To maximize policy effectiveness, Da Nang will introduce a "sandbox" mechanism in the future, strengthen coordination among regulatory bodies, enterprises, and training institutions, establish technical support agencies at the local level, and ensure the government effectively supports the entrepreneurship community.

In addition to the financing activities of the 36 domestic and international projects, the forum featured a series of key events, including:

The launch ceremony of the "Da Nang – Greater Bay Area Innovation Space";
Three investment panel discussions;
Innovation cooperation signing ceremonies among various institutions.
